Sadio Mane doesn’t look happy at Bayern Munich, or so Liverpool legend Dietmar Hamann believes, after the striker has started to show signs of frustration in Germany.

The Senegalese hero swapped Merseyside for Munich this summer after winning the Champions League, Premier League, FA Cup and Carabao Cup during a six-year spell with the Reds.

Mane was keen to push through his £38m move to Germany as he set his sights on challenging himself in the Bundesliga with Bayern.

But after a sparkling start that saw him score three goals in his first three games for his new club, Mane has now gone five games without a goal in all competitions as he tries to adapt to the demands of playing in another country.

Now Hamann, a former Bayern and Liverpool player, has questioned whether the 30-year-old is happy in his new surroundings where boss Julian Nagelsmann is using him as a centre-forward.

“It’s not integrated,” Hamann told GMX. “I saw him at Liverpool FC, where he played through the middle.
