NBA 2K23 allows players to respect and rebuild their MyPlayer characters, but only after completing the Rebirth questline featuring Ronnie 2K. To complete the quest line, you will need to find Ronnie several times within the game’s online hub without the help of map markers. The game is happy not to reveal exactly where and when you can find him, so we’re here to guide you on how to complete this long quest and earn some great rewards along the way. Here you can find Ronnie 2K in NBA 2K23.
All Ronnie 2K locations for the Rebirth mission
Ronnie 2K will appear at four different points during the mission and will hand out a different reward each time you find him. Your player will need to reach certain total ratings for each encounter to earn Ronnie’s 2K prizes.
First location and reward – 65 OVR
Once your player reaches a total of 65 or higher, head to the northeast side of the map to find Ronnie 2K. That’s him near the Northside Knights zone, just to the left of the Knights Station icon. He’s standing next to a trash can in a bright pink sweatshirt, so he’s hard to miss. Talk to Ronnie to get a shirt with his image on the front — not a great prize, but the best is yet to come.
Second location and reward – 75 OVR
After reaching total 75, use the train to get to West Mall Station. Ronnie will be standing just east of the station, between the Finders Keepers and Embellish shops nearby. This time, it will reward you with the ability to choose where to spawn upon entering town. To set a custom playback point, simply open the map and press the “Select” message. when you highlight any railway station.
Third location and reward – 88 OVR
Once you reach the 88 set, make your way to North Station, which is located at west of the Northside Knights zone. Ronnie is northeast of the station, standing under a large 2K Sports sign. His third reward allows players to go shirtless when playing games in The City.
Fourth location and reward – 90 OVR
Finally, after reaching a total score of 90, go to the South City Vipers zone in the southwest corner of town, just south of Ronnie’s second 2K location. Ronnie is waiting near the entrance to the Vipers area. He stands in front of the large, wooden sign. Once you complete this hide and seek game, Ronnie will finally allow you to use the respawn feature.
What does Rebirth do?
Essentially, the regeneration feature will allow you to create a new MyPlayer for the MyCareer mode while saving your current progress. Your player it will revert to the total of 90 with a number of pre-unlocked points. You’ll still need about 200,000 VC to level up the stats, but completing the Rebirth mission will save plenty of time when it comes to exhausting brand new players.
