Home and Away was released by Channel 5 on the day of the Queen’s funeral

Home and Away will not be shown on Channel 5 on Monday 19 September.

Following the death of Queen Elizabeth II last week, some changes have been made to the broadcast to cover the news.

With the Queen’s funeral now set to take place on Monday, Channel 5 has confirmed it will not air Monday’s scheduled episode of the Australian soap.

However, the episode will air tonight (September 16) as usual at 6.30 p.m on 5STAR (the first screening) and also has the usual evening screening Monday at 6pm on 5STAR as scheduled.

The episode will never be shown on Channel 5 as it will have been shown twice on 5STAR, but the usual schedule will resume from Tuesday (September 20).

It follows a raft of big schedule changes across all UK broadcasters as it has also been confirmed Coronation Street and Emmerdale will not be broadcast on Monday and will continue as normal on Tuesday.

This week’s episodes Home and Away they saw Tane working undercover with the police to take down Tex Wheeler and the biker gang.

Speaking recently to Digital spy about his character’s latest storyline, Ethan Browne explained, “I loved the new dynamic. Since Ari died, Tane had to take control of the family. I think he did a great job.

“I think Tane has a lot more at stake now with Felicity and being the head of the family and not having his brothers there to have his back has made him change course and really think about who is the most safe choice for himself and his loved ones. .”

Home and Away airs daily at 13:45 on Channel 5 and 18:00 on 5STAR. The first look shows air at 6.30 pm. on 5STAR and the show also airs on My5.

In Australia, the show airs Monday to Thursday at 7pm. on Channel 7 and broadcast on 7plus.
