Curtis Pritchard plans to return to acting – despite backlash from Hollyoaks

Curtis Pritchard plans to return to acting as soon as possible despite his latest stint — appearing Hollyoaks with brother AJ Pritchard — they’re not exactly going to plan.

The Pritchard brothers appeared in one episode of it Hollyoaks in 2021, where they played the evil twins Jacob and Marco. However, their performance in the episode was criticized by fans and former cast members of the soap alike, with some liken it to “GCSE drama”.

However, in a new interview with Daily StarPritchard said the experience did not deter him from acting again in the future.

“Ongoing Hollyoaks it was such a great thing because I learned so much from it. He taught me a lot about acting. I fell in love with acting. It gave me an enthusiasm for acting,” Pritchard said.

“I’m 100% willing to do more acting. 1000%! I’ve been taking acting classes. Ever since that show Hollyoaks until now, I’m like a different person. Put it this way, I got more press than Hollyoaks has ever taken In more countries than even get Hollyoaks. They were very happy.”

Pritchard doesn’t currently have any acting gigs lined up, so it’s unclear when he might be seen acting again. However, he is currently starring Celebrity SAS: Who Dares Wins next to his brother AJ. Last night’s episode of brutal reality saw TOWIE Star Pete Wicks leaves the show after an injury.

Curtis Pritchard previously starred in the 2019 season Island of Love, finishing fourth with partner Maura Higgins. AJ, meanwhile, rose to fame as a professional dancer Strictly Come Dancingwhose new season starts later this month.

Hollyoaks airs first on All 4, with new episodes dropping every weekday morning. The show is broadcast Monday to Friday at 18.30 on Channel 4 and at 19.00 on E4. Selected omnibus episodes are available via Amazon Prime Video.
