Coronation Street first look at gun drama in Kelly Neelan’s exit plot

doOronio Street is ready to say goodbye to Millie Gibson as Kelly Neelan’s character’s revenge plot goes horribly wrong tonight (September 23).

In previous episodes, Kelly decided to get the ultimate revenge on Gary Windass (Mikey North) after discovering that he had killed her father Rick (Greg Wood) three years before.

In an unlikely move, she hired her kidnapper Kieron Edgerton (Pat Lally) to assassinate Gary during her own engagement party with Aadi (Adam Hussain).

A little later, however, he began to have second thoughts. But Kieron isn’t really the logical type and didn’t back down, revealing a dark fate that awaited Kelly as her plan backfired tragically.

In a dramatic twist tonight, Kieron forces both Kelly and Gary onto a rooftop, where he spills details of his own masterplan. He plans to kill Kelly and pin Gary’s death on her, making it look like a murder-suicide.

As a gunshot is heard, not all characters will survive.

Gibson recently touched on Kelly’s personality change in her coming out storyline, feeling Rick’s bellicose influence and making rash decisions.

“I’m excited to see how she turns out, because it’s like Kelly Neelan is the right Neelan in this story — she’s not the new Kelly that she’s found herself to be. She really starts to change period after her dad finds out,” she recently said. Digital spy and other means.

The actress is leaving the cobbles behind after three years in the role of Kelly, with her first appearance dating back to June 2019.

Coronation Street airs Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays at 8pm on ITV and is broadcast on the ITV Hub.
