ByteDance’s new VR set wants to go head-to-head with Meta Quest 2 in Europe and Asia

Meta’s Quest 2 VR is getting some competition in the form of the Pico 4, a lightweight VR headset that the company calls “its best yet.” The lighter, thinner wireless headset has good horsepower and has already received an exclusive game release from Ubisoft. Unfortunately, VR enthusiasts in the US may have to wait a little while to get their hands on one of these headsets.

The Pico 4 (opens in new tab) it’s powered by a 2.84Ghz Qualcomm Snapdragon XR2 processor and features a 4K resolution display with up to 90Hz refresh rate on a pair of 2.56″ LCDs. It comes with a pair of controllers and will ship with what they call a “diverse and comprehensive” library of games and software.
